The Indian textiles I grew up around, made into a silk square you'd actually wear. Not a costume, just yours. Two designs, real mulberry silk, edges rolled by hand.
The Indian textiles I loved growing up were saved for weddings, or flattened into someone else's "boho" print. I wanted the version that's actually ours, that you'd reach for on an ordinary Tuesday. So I made it.
Both are built the same way: a centre, four corners, a border strong enough to hold it together. It's the old Persian carpet layout, which is why it still reads once you fold the scarf into a triangle and knot it. These are the two I'm making. Pick the one you want and that's the one that comes to you.
Peacock feathers thrown open across a deep lapis ground, cream cartouches in the corners, little flowers caught in the fall of the barbs. From across a room it reads almost black. Up close it opens right up. Hermès put a peacock on their own India carré back in 1985, so this is a bit of a wink at that.

Crocus flowers turning around a little gold bowl of saffron threads, on a madder-red border, the colour the French called fond rouge back when they were still copying it from Gujarat. This is the warm one, and the only one with a real subject rather than just a repeating pattern.

This is exactly what I'm having made, spelled out plainly. It's built to be worn for years, not a season, the kind of thing you keep and eventually hand on.
It's not a random number. It's the lowest I can price it without quietly cutting the silk, the size, or the hem.
Twelve momme or lighter, sometimes polyester called silk touch. Machine rolled or overlocked edges. Often 65cm, because silk is sold by weight and smaller is cheaper.
Sixteen momme mulberry silk at a full 90cm, edges rolled by hand. Made properly, and priced as low as that lets me.
The French houses that invented this format make the same object and charge a multiple of it. A lot of that gap is the name on the label, and some of it is genuinely the silk.

Same reservation either way. I'll only ever email you twice: once when the drop opens, and once when yours is ready.
Here's something I love. That little floral print everyone calls "Provençal", the very French one, actually started out Indian. Indian cotton reached France in the 1600s, France banned it to protect its own mills, then quietly copied it anyway. My designs skip the French detour and go straight back to the Persian and Mughal work it all came from.
These are original designs, printed on silk. They're not block-printed or embroidered, and I won't borrow a craft's name to sell them. If it's the hand-blocked thing you want, please buy that from the artisans who make it. This is its own thing, and I'd rather just say so.

16-momme mulberry silk, 90 by 90 cm, edges rolled and stitched by hand. Nothing synthetic, nothing overlocked.
Keep it out of long direct sun, and either dry-clean it or hand-wash cold and lay it flat to dry. Treat it gently and silk lasts for years.
